On November 2, 2005, people all over the world protested the war on the people and land of Iraq. A Critical Mass bike ride traveled from Arcata to demonstrate with many more people in front of the Federal building in Eureka. Young, slight Kat Zimmerman was one of the bicyclists. While a CHP helicopter flew over the bicyclists and uniformed men inside the Federal Post Office in Eureka pointed large guns at peaceful demonstrators outside, CHP Sargent Randy Price deliberately knocked Kat off of her bike, rendering her unconscioous and causing her intense bruising. Then Randy Price told the all-too-complicit Humboldt County District Attorney, Paul Gallegos, that Kat had attacked and hurt him!
