The criminal charge being of "drunk in public" actually requires more than being drunk and being in public: the legal standard requires that a person be so drunk as to be a danger to themselves or others

Redwood Curtain CopWatch will be hosting a Know Your Rights and CopWatch workshop on January 17, 2009 from 1 to 5:30pm in Old Town Eureka.  This workshop, as with all CopWatch events, is FREE and open to ALL AGES.  We will discuss what rights each of us have and how we can assert them to protect ourselves when dealing with "law enforcement."
